Facebook is about fun! Engaging your audience through contests will keep your page top of mind.

There are 2 types of contests to run on Facebook, Timeline and App. Timeline contests are ones right on your timeline where you can ask fans to comment, like, etc to win a prize. App contests need an outside app, like Heyo. This takes a little more work to set up, but this type of contest allows you to collect emails via the app.

 

#3: Use Videos

Videos have a bigger reach on Facebook than any other type of content.

If you haven’t heard all the talk about video reach on Facebook recently, you must really not be paying attention. So, I’m going to shout this one out at you…VIDEO IN 2015 ON FACEBOOK (and other platforms still) IS MORE IMPORTANT IN YOUR MARKETING THAN EVER! YOU MUST BE USING VIDEO.

Videos don’t have to be top-notch professional all the time. You can take a video with your smart phone simply nowadays. Don’t over complicate creating videos. One way to simply come up with content is think of the top 10 questions asked in your business. Answer each answer in a short video.

#4 Run Facebook Ads

Facebook ads highly targeted. They are inexpensive. They work.

I realize I am talking to small businesses, as well as large businesses here. My suggestion with ads is if you are going to spend the money on ads, have a specific goal in mind. Do you want to build your email list? Then, spend some money boosting an ad that drives traffic to that list. Do you have a particular offer you want to get out there? That’s where you should target your ad.

 

Running a Facebook Page is not that complicated. It still works. Your audience is still there. Follow these steps to reach your audience and profit on Facebook in 2015!!!!
