facebook dynamic ads 2020

What are the benefits to Facebook Dynamic ads 2020?

Why should you use them?

Facebook has become pretty smart over the years. They are so smart that they can figure out which type of creative will be of interest to certain people in your audiences. This save TONS of time testing each variable one at a time. Instead, let Facebook figure it out for you!

Benefits to Facebook Dynamic Ads 2020

Dynamic ads makes it easier and faster to test your best:

  • Media – Visuals (Videos, Graphics)
  • Primary Text (Copy in each ad)
  • Headline (Under the graphic or video)
  • Description (Does not appear in all placements)
  • Call to Action (Button on ad)

You can test up to 5 variations of each of these.

With Facebook Dynamic Ads 2020, you can have as many as 6250 combinations!!!

Supported Placement Includes:

  • Facebook Newsfeed on desktop and mobile
  • Right-hand column
  • Instagram feed
  • Audience Network classic
  • Audience Network In-stream video
  • Audience Network rewarded video
  • Messenger inbox

Supported Placement Does Not Include:

The one bummer, is the supported placement DOES NOT INCLUDE: Instagram and Facebook Stories, which is one of my favorite placements. I recommend learning what works best with dynamic ads, then test Instagram and Facebook Stories ads with those best creatives.

Let’s break down how you set this up.

Inside your ads manager, it’s starts at AD SET LEVEL. You will need to turn Dynamic Creative button on (as shown below).

The rest of the Dynamic Creative setup happens in the ads manager at AD LEVEL.

Let’s break this down.

Here is a sample of all the variable listed above and how to know you have the Dynamic ad options.

#1: You should see the + Add Another Option on all the variables in Ad Set.
